I was surprised with the band's and album's name, because it was written in runes. Rune Yr exposed on the CD itself means mistake or stray. All runic writings (the band's and album's name and names of the both musicians) are compound of three streams – German, Anglo-Saxon and Viking Futhark. This is supposed to bring the right atmosphere of this record.
After the short intro, slowly speeding up "true pure black" with thick and not cleanly sounding guitar comes in. Add shrilly and raw croak and you can imagine all four pieces. And of course, percussion makes that all complete.
However, this record is nothing special, therefore it falls among many other bands playing this genre. There is no way to read the lyrics, so the listener is dedicated only to the evil and blasphemous melodies and that also bears down the rating.
