It was one beautiful sunny afternoon and all true rockers arrived to Brno to see Motörhead. At first it might have looked like not much people is going to attend, but as the first band finished their gig, more people came.
First band to open the Motörhead festival was Doga. They showed nothing new and they definitely didn’t impress me at all. It was also obvious, that all the guest will be condemned to bad sound.
Second band to come on stage was the legendary Slovakian band Tublatanka, who performed as perfectly as usual. After Tublatanka’s biggest hits, thing begun to get heavier.
Aleš Brichta and his AB Band came onstage and presented to us their brand new record Deratizer, given for free to every attendee. They played mostly heavier songs plus they added a medley of their greaterst hits.
After AB Band, Arakain with their frontman Honza Toužimský also presented to us their brand new record. This one’s called Restart. Band played newer heavier songs as well as older hits.
After one-hour-long stage rebuild, the legend of British heavy metal – Motörhead – began their show with a very old classic Iron First and the fans got crazy. From the new record they played Rock Out. The sound quality was terrible the whole concert. Sound engineers managed to fix this during Whorehouse Blues, for which the stage needed to be partially rebuilt. After that they played mere three songs – Killed By Death, encore Ace Of Spades and definitelly last one Overkill
